Haruhi Suzumiya gets new name on Wii
Plus, DX version contents revealed
Suzumiya Haruhi is getting a name change for her first trip to the Wii. Or, rather, the character's name is staying the same, but the title of her first Wii game has been finalized as Haruhi Suzumiya no Gekidou. Previously, the game was referred to as the temporary Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuu Utsu.
"Gekidou" is Japanese for commotion, or upheaval. Past outings have been titled, unofficially translated to English, as "Suzumiya Haruhi's Melancholy" and "Suzumiya Haruhi's Promise."
This new name was revealed at [a href=http://www.haruhi-wii.com/]an official website[/a] that Kadokawa Shoten opened up for the game today.
Also at the site is a glimpse at the content of the game's limited edition DX pack. The bundle will include a figure of Haruhi wearing her school clothes. This Revoltech model accepts interchangeable parts, which will be distributed through various Kadokawa magazines between October and December. See [a href=http://www.haruhi-wii.com/sp/]the DX version special site[/a] for specifics.
