Alchemist shared details today on the limited edition of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kizuna Vol.1.

The DS entry in the spooky adventure series will offer some special bonuses for fans who are willing to pay extra. The limited edition box has place to hold all four volumes that will eventually be released for the DS. Also included is a can that's filled with goodies, including a set of trump cards, a cloth cleaner, a "curry" eraser, a note pad, a mini calendar, a sticker, and a pouch.

This adventure game is played the horizontal way.

The limited edition will sell for pre-tax 6,800 yen, compared to the standard version's 3,800 yen.

In addition to the limited edition details, Alchemist updated the game's official site today with a demo that can be experienced straight from your PC. Access it under the "体験" (demo) section of the main site, which can be reached by clicking the white "サイト入口" (site entrance) button on the front page.
