EA releases add-on content PS3 Burnout Paradise
Update adds new modes and online options
PlayStation 3 owners are getting the priority treatment with the first round of download content for Burnout Paradise. Electronic Arts announced today the game's "Cagney" download contents package, which will hit the PS3 today, with an Xbox 360 release to follow shortly.
Cagney promises to "heat up the battles" in Paradise with new modes and cars. The update adds the following:
- Online Road Rage
- Split into two teams and attempt to take out your rival team before they cross the check points and reach the goal
- Online Stunt Run
- The rules are the same as standard onlne mode, but when you're taken down while on a stunt run, your combo ends and your rival player gets combo points
- Online Marked Man
- Players take turns as the marked man who has to flee from other players over a set time
- Free Burn Challenge
- 70 new free burn challenges added to online mode
- Paradise Live
- This information page gives you game news, online player counts, weather reports and more
- Two new cars
- These require unlocking
