New stages, modes and costumes for Guilty Gear 2
Second set of download content hits in August.
New download content is on the way for Guilty Gear 2 Overture. Arc System Works announced today a mid August target for a new stage and costume.
The new stage is called Holy Knight's Fortress. This stage, which is set in, as the name suggests, a fortress, can be used in both online and offline matches. When playing online, all players will need to have downloaded the stage.
The new costume is called Extra SOL. This costume promises to make the main character, Sol Badguy, look as bad as his name suggests.
While a final release date hasn't been set, pricing is set at 400 MS Points for the stage and 200 MS Points for the costume.
Joining the paid downloads is something for everyone: a free game update. Amid a number of fixes, the update adds two new modes: Point Match and Training. Training should be self explanatory. Point Match is a new type of battle royal where four players attempt to get the highest score.
This is the second set of download content for the game. In early June, Arc made available Raven as a playable character at 400 MS Points.
