Konami updates Action Deka
New stage, boss and move for waggle-based arcade game
Konami gave Action Deka the old power up treatment today, adding new stages and characters to the recent arcade release.
New to the game is Stage 5, Tokyoto Minato-ku, a stage that's presumably based off Tokyo's Harbor District. This stage closes off with a new boss character, Zaemon.
To defeat Zaemon, you'll need to make use of a new "Taiko Action" move, where you poundthe game's action controllers down when objects reach a hot spot on the screen. Beat down with good timing, and you'll kick the object at Zaemon, damaging him.
Look for the updated version in your local arcade now.
