Miyamoto, Inafune to give CEDEC keynotes
Japanese developers conference gets some major developers
With CESA chairman (and Square Enix prez) Yoichi Wada set to deliver this year's Tokyo Game Show keynote, the expectations for the megaton reveals of past years appeared to be out.
It turns out that the big keynotes will be happening at an earlier CESA-organized event. CESA revealed today that the CESA Developers Conference (CEDEC), set for September 11 to 13, will see keynote addresses from Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto and Capcom's Keiji Inafune.
Miyamoto's keynote will take place on the third day of the show from 9:30 to 10:20. Titled "Doko kara Tsukureba Iindarou?" (roughly, "Where's a good place to start development"), the speech will focus on game production and universal design centered on Wii Music's development.
Inafune's speech has not yet been detailed.
CEDEC is an annual event that can be considered Japan's own version of America's Game Developer's Conference. The trade-only event will be held at the Showa Women's University in Tokyo.
