Konami kicked off (har har har) the fourth official online tournament today for Winning Eleven Arcade Championship 2008.

This fourth tournament allows players to select from 54 national teams. In comparison, the third tournament focused on regional club teams.

Preliminaries will run from today until August 17 at 23:59, with the finals going from 9:00 on August 18 to August 24 at 23:59. The winners of the finals round will get some special commemorative data, including trophies and cups.

Winning Eleven AC 2008 is the latest arcade entry in Konami's Winning Eleven soccer franchise. The title features 126 club teams from Europe, with over 180 teams in all when national teams are included.
