Ratchet & Clank goes Gaiden on Japanese PSN
Download title to be released simultaneously with overseas counterparts
Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty is making the trip to Japan. Sony confirmed today that the download-only title will hit Japan on August 21, simultaneous with its American counterpart. The game will cost 1,500 yen.
First shown in playable form at E3, Quest for Booty is an offshoot to last year's Ratchet & Clank Future. Players take control exclusively of Ratchet through four stages of play in a search for robot buddy Clank.
"Booty" presumably doesn't translate all that well into Japanese, as here the game will be known as Ratchet & Clank Future Gaiden: Secret Treasure of Pirate Dark Water.
