Nintendo has unveiled the September Virtual Console lineup, and leading the way is a Square classic whose numbering got a bit confused during the trip overseas.

Seiken Densetsu 2 will hits the service in September, carrying an 800 WiiPoint price tag. Overseas, the title is known as Secret of Mana.

The full September lineup includes 12 titles.

• Sorcerian (Nihon Falcom, Mega Drive, 700)
• Forgotten Worlds (Capcom, Mega Drive, 600)
• Fist of the North Star: Shinseikimatsu Kyuseijyu Densetsu (Sega, Mega Drive, 700)
• The Ninja Warriors (Taito, PC Engine, 600)
• Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club PC Bangai-hen (Naxat Soft, PC Engine, 600)
• Final Blaster (Bandai Namco, PC Engine, 600)
• Mizubaku Daibouken Adventure (Taito, PC Engine, 600)

Detective Saburo Jinguji is due for September 2 release. Specific dates for the other titles have yet to be set.
