New games appear in SNK Playmore TGS lineup
Six titles confirmed playable; more unveils on the way.
Tokyo Game Show organizer CESA already shared SNK Playmore's lineup for this year's show, but the publisher went about confirming the lineup today. It also went about admitting something that many figured out following the CESA unveil: there are some previously unannounced games in the lineup.
As mentioned in the CESA report yesterday, SNK Playmore has six console games set for the show: The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match (PS2), ADK Tamashii (PS2), Samurai Spirits Rokuban Shoubu (PSP), The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match (Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade), King of Fighters XII (arcade) and Kimi no Yuusha (DS). All will be playable, according to SNK Playmore's announcement today.
Of these titles, the first four were previously unannounced. SNK Playmore did not provide details on the newbies, although most of them appear to be ports.
SNK Playmore will be hosting a press conference on the show floor. Those attending on the 9th and 10th, the business-only days of the show, should be at the SNK Playmore booth starting at 10:30. New titles aside from those listed above are expected to be announced.
On the general public days, the company is promising stage events featuring developers and voice actors as well as cosplay events.
TGS will be held this year between October 9 and 12 at the usual location, the Makuhari Messe on the outskirts of Tokyo.
