British independent development studio Code Masters revelaed today that it has established a Japanese office which will handle publishing duties for the Japanese market.

The first game to emerge from the new Japanese branded Code Masters will be Race Driver GRID. Currently available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America and Europe, the racer will see Japanese release this Winter. The game will be localized through a full voice translation, featuring major voice actors like Romi Pako and Shinichiro Ota.

GRID is already available for release in overseas markets.

A bit further down the road, Code Masters will also be bringing over Operation Flashpoint 2 Dragon Rising and Overlord. Both titles, set for Xbox 360 and PS3 release, will arrive in 2009.
