Tatsunoko VS Capcom set for Wii

Home version arrives in December.

Capcom formally announced today a Wii version of the upcoming arcade crossover versus fighter Tatsunoko VS Capcom Cross Generation of Heroes.

While not sharing specifics on the console version, the company provided a release date of December 11 and a price of 7,340 yen.

Tatsunoko VS Capcom is a revival of the flashy versus style of fighting game that became popular with late 90s classics like X-Men VS Street Fighter. Rather than Marvel heroes, the crossover pits Capcom characters against characters from the Tatsunoko Productions animation house.

More details on the Wii version can be found in this week's issue of Famitsu.

Those hoping to get an early shot at the arcade version can head out to the Makuhari Messe on Saturday, where the game is playable in Capcom's Amusement Machine Show booth. The final arcade version will, like the Wii version, be released in December.
