Capcom details Tokyo Game Show lineup

Monster Hunter 3, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, and Biohazard 5 to be playable.

 

Capcom shared today its lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Operating under the theme of "Big Impact," the company is planning its biggest booth ever.

Playable titles set for the booth include Biohazard 5 (PS3/X360), Monster Hunter 3 (Wii), Gyakuten Kenji (DS), Street Fighter IV (PS3/X360), Dead Rising Zombie no Ikenie (Wii), Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes (PSP), Bionic Commando (PS3/X360), Tatsunoko VS Capcom (Wii), and Fate/unlimited Codes (PS20,

The company will host two titles in the show's Kids Corner area. Ryusei no Rockman 3 and Wantame Variety Channel, both for the DS, will be playable.

Outside of the video game area, Capcom will also be showing Monster Hunter Hunting Card, its Monster Hunter trading card game that's set for October 25 release. TGS attendees will be able to buy the game's Basic Starter pack in advance and take part in special training courses that teach the basics.

Capcom is also planning stage events, although it has yet to give details.

Visitors to the Capcom booth will want to be on the lookout for a couple of special items. In addition to the yearly Capcom Special DVD, the company will hand out a special Capcom Magazine offering featured looks at 11 titles and a Capcom history in commemoration of the company's 25th anniversary.

More details on Capcom's game show lineup will be offered through a [a href=http://www.capcom.co.jp/tgs2008/]special Tokyo Game Show site[/a] the company opened up today. The site currently has spots left blank for booth map, stage schedule, good distribution, and goods sales.

TGS kicks off on October 9th. The first two days are press and invite only, with the show opening up to the public on the 11th and 12th.
