D3 focuses on Wii and DS at TGS

Company shares lineup and stage show plan


D3 Publisher announced today its playable lineup for the Tokyo Game Show. The firm has a DS and Wii-centered lineup this year, as listed at [a href=http://www.d3p.co.jp/tgs2008/]the TGS 2008 special site[/a] it set up today.

For the DS, the company will be showing the following:

  • Riz-zoawd
  • Gallileo
  • Hajime no Ippo The Fighting! DS
  • Unknown Soldier
  • Magical Tounou Power!! DS
  • VitaminY
  • Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi DS
  • Vampire Knight DS
  • The Host Shiyouze DX Night King
  • The Gal Mahjong
  • The Misshitsu Kara no Dasshutsu 2
  • The Hikkyou Tankentai Choujou Special

On the Wii, the company will have two titles: The Block Kuzushi Neo and the Number Puzzle Neo. Both are WiiWare titles that fall under the new @SIMPLE series.

In the show's Kid's Corner area, D3 will be showing Vehicle Kingdom DS (Norimono Oukoku DS) and Forest Cafeteria DS.

D3 also has a number of events planned for the show, including a Hajime no Ippo DS tournament, a Riz-zoad creator talk live, a voice actor talk event for Vampire Knight, a creator and voice actor talk event for Vitamin Y, and a Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi DS event that promises a new game announcement of some form. The booth will also have a periodic event held throughout the day that's currently labeled as "Secret Event."

A couple of yearly events will close off the show on the 12th. The Love Live stage will return at 15:00 with a live and talk show featuring voice actress Yuko Goto (voice of Riho Futaba). The D3 Publisher TGS 2008 Final event will be held from 14:15 and will feature a janken (paper-rock-scissors) tournament along with a send-off from the D3 companion girls.
