Avalon Code pushed back to November

Company makes move for "strategic" reasons.

Marvelous Entertainment was originally planning an October 16 release for Avalon Code. Today, the company announced a delay for the game to November 1.

Delay notices are usually accompanied by some form statement citing a need to improve the quality of the game or the discovery of bugs. A posting at the Avalon Code official site, however, says that the delay is for "strategic" reasons.

Following an apology to fans and parties more closely related to the game, the official site notice promises some major promotions, reflecting its belief that Avalon Code is a major original title.

For those who can't wait until November, Avalon Code will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show. Marvelous will also be giving the game a stage show on both the 11th and 12th, featuring talk sessions and a live performance of the theme song.
