Some percentage of people like reading about DSi

But 47% don't want to buy it.

In response to last week's posting titled [a href=http://www.andriasang.com/e/blogs/anoop/2008/10/03/dsi_people_no_wanty/]"47% of people don't want a DSi,"[/a] here's a little nugget from the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.

As always, the Monday morning edition of the paper has a ranking section recapping the top read stories from Nikkei Net, its online counterpart, the week before. Last week, covering 9/29 to 10/3, guess what was number one? No, not the DSi, silly! Number one was obviously that whole thing about the stock market dropping 777 points in one day. Number two? No, still not the DSi... that honor went to transport minister Nariaki Nakayama who resigned after saying a bunch of stupid shit.

The announcement of the DSi came in third however, making it more relevant than a fire down in Osaka that killed 15 and layoffs at Toyota.
