Darth Vader and Yoda become downloadable in Soul Calibur IV

The download content everyone was expecting has at last arrived.

It's the download content you just knew was on the way, and today Bandai Namco made it official: Soul Calibur IV owners will now be able to pit Yoda and Darth Vader in Light Saber fights, after handing over some yen for a character download.

On October 23, the two characters will become available as new SCIV download items. PS3 owners, whose copy ships with Darth Vader accessible from the start, will be able to download Yoda for 600 yen. Xbox 360 owners, who can already play as Yoda, will be able to download Darth for 400 MS Points (about 600 yen).

You can finally recreate that scene from Episode 2.

Released on July 31 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, Soul Calibur IV is the latest entry in Bandai Namco's popular fighting series which first appeared in arcades in 1998. The title managed to ship two million units worldwide within a week of its release.
