Capcom shares Jump Festa lineup
Monster Hunter 3 to be playable. Lines already spotted outside Makuhari Messe.
Capcom opened up today a special website for the upcoming Jump Festa event, becoming one of the first companies to share its full lineup.
The annual event, hosted by Shounen Jump publisher Shueisha, will be held as always at the Makuhari Messe, the same Chiba-based convention center that the Tokyo Game Show calls its home. This year's event will run on December 20 and 21, a bit earlier than last year, which came after Christmas but before New Years.
Capcom will have a handful of games in playable form at the event. Most notable is Monster Hunter 3, which commanded waits of over four hours during its Tokyo Game Show debut last week. Also set for playable display are Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes and Street Fighter IV.
Outside of the pure video game content, Capcom will have a demo event and sales corner set up for Monster Hunter Hunting Card, a trading card game that's scheduled to see release on October 35.
As always, admission to Jump Festa is free. For general details on the show, see Shueisha's official event page.
