Culdecept tournament detailed

64 players to advance to finals to determine top Cepter in Japan.

 

Sega shared final details today on the All Japan Cepter's Cup 2008 event, a national tournament for Culdecept DS.

The tournament will kick off with preliminary rounds starting in December. Details on the first set of Wi-Fi matches have already been announced. These will run from December 1 through December 25. Sega also revealed today that the second round will last from January 7 through February 2.

In addition to the Wi-Fi matches, Sega will hold local wireless play tournaments as part of a nationwide tour for the game. Things kick off with the Famitsu Cup Event on November 29 at the main Sega office. The tour then continues according to the following schedule:

  • Nagoya Tournament: 12/6
  • Sapporo Tournament: 12/7
  • Tokyo Tournament: 12/13
  • Osaka Tournament: 12/20
  • Fukuoka Tournament: 1/10
  • Specal Tournament: January

Sega will select top top 64 players from the local and Wi-Fi preliminary tournaments to proceed to the final All Japan Cepter's Cup 2008 event. This all-day event will be held on February 28, 2009 from 10:00 to 18:00 at the main Sega office in Tokyo.
