Russell seeks Strike Witches subtitle

Help name the multiplatform anime to game conversion.

Strike Witches was already notable for its ties to the like-named anime, manga and light novel series, but publisher Russell is drawing even more attention to the game through a unique campaign that will allow players to come up with one key component: the title.

Starting today, and lasting until January 31, Russell will be taking suggestions for subtitles for both the DS and PS2 versions of the game. Those who are interested in submitting a name to follow the "Strike Witches" part of the title can do so at the official Strike Witches site.

Both versions will have a unique subtitle -- fitting, as both are different adaptations of the anime. The DS version is a simulation game. The PS2 version is an adventure. Both have different stories centered on the activities of the Witch characters -- young women who are capable of using magic.

The two winning candidates (one for the DS and one for the PS2) will get their name or pen name in the credit roll of the game and will also receive a free copy of the game.
