I'm used to getting freebies when I buy games, but they usually amount to straps or possibly a poster.

Which is when when I saw the lady at Bic Camera putting something that looked like a poster into the bag with my copy of Tatsunoko VS Capcom yesterday, I assumed it was just that... a poster.

Imagine my surprise when I got home, took it out, and found that it's actually a wall calendar! And a giant one at that -- 52x36cm! Capcom even used thick, high quality paper for all six pages.

I'm surprised they gave this away for free. The could have easily made it a 12 page calendar and charged 10 bucks for it.

This calendar was just a promotion for Softmap and Bic Camera, so to get the bonus, you had to have purchased your copy of the game at one of these chains.
