Square Enix holds Blood of Bahamut naming campaign
Square Enix Members contribute to upcoming DS title.
Square Enix is giving fans a chance to contribute to the development of Blood of Bahamut through a campaign that will see a handful of in-game weapons get named by members of the Square Enix Members community site.
The company will let community members name three of the game's weapons:
- A sword of "darkness" elemental that's used by Ibuki
- A staff of "fire" elemental that's used by Yui
- An axe of "water" elemental that's used by Kamo
Square Enix staff will select the best names from all submissions. The winners will have their Square Enix Members nicknames appear in the game's staff role.
The campaign will run from today through January 4, with the results being announced in late January at the Square Enix Members site.
For a look at the weapons, see the Blood of Bahamut page at the Square Enix Members site. This page is accessible to all, although in order to proceed on to the submission page, you'll have to input your Square Enix Members ID.
Blood of Bahamut is a multiplayer DS RPG in which players team up in groups of four to take on giant beasts. The game is currently without a final release date.
