Square Enix made three announcements for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy Cyrstal Chronicles Echoes of Time, one affecting the DS version, one the Wii version, and one both.

For the DS version, the company provided a first look at the special DSi unit that will be included in the game's "Edition" hardware bundle. The special system is based off the current white-colored DSi unit and features the game's cat logo on the one side, with the Crystal Chronicles name written around the system's external camera.

As previously announced, this package will sell for 23,940 yen.

Buyers of the Wii version don't have a special Wii unit to look forward to. However, Square Enix is planning a special bonus for all purchasers of that version. The Wii version will include a new trailer for Crystal Bearers, a Wii Crystal Chronicles game that was was announced prior to Echoes of Time. This trailer will be selectable from the main menu.

Finally, Square Enix shared today the package design for the Echoes of Time pre-order bonus item. As previously announced, both versions of the game will include a special soundtrack CD for pre-orderers. The CD includes five songs from the Crystal Chronicles series.

Both the Wii and DS versions of Echoes of Time will be released on January 29.
