Winning Post World set for Wii, PS3, PS2 and PC

Latest entry in Koei's derby simulation series lets players select from three jobs.

Koei announced today the latest entry in its Winning Post series of horse racing simulation games. Winning Post World will be released on the PC, Wii, PS3, and PS2.

This latest horse racing sim offers players a chance to live the horse racing world from the perspective of three jobs: owner, trainer, and rider.

In the main scenario mode of play, players create a character as one of these three professions and attempt to build it up over two years of in-game time. This scenario mode features over 500 events.

Also available is a World Mode. Here, you use the character you created in Scenario Mode to reach long-reaching reaching goals that are dependent on your profession choice.

The PC version of the game will arrive first, on February 20 priced at 10,290 yen. The PS2, Wii and PS3 versions will follow simultaneously on April 2. Pricing for the PS2 and Wii versions is set at 7,140 yen, with the PS3 version a bit higher at 7,560 yen.
