Farewell, My Lovely set for May

Furyu gives a final release date to its Raymond Chandler adaptation

Joining today's announcement of a final release date for Last Bullet, Furyu has come through with a similar announcement for Saraba Itoshiki Onna Yo.

Previously announced for Spring, the game now has a final release date of May 28. Pricing is set at 5,040 yen.

Saraba Itoshiki Onna Yo is a DS adaptation of the like-named Raymond Chandler mystery. English speaking audiences will recognize this as the Japanese name for Farewell, My Lovely.

Players take control of Chandler hero Philip Marlow in an adventure that kicks off following Marlow's encounter with Malloy at Bar Froiline. The story follows the original title, but also features branching points which can lead to new developments.

Furyu shared details today on four characters that Marlow encounters at the bar:

Malloy
Malloy is searching town for his girlfriend from a long time ago. She used to be a singer at Bar Froiline.
Mrs. Grayle
The wife of an investor. She seeks Malloy's help in solving a crime, but appears to hiding something.
Montgomery
The likable owner of Bar Froiline
Bartender
A bartender at Bar Froiline. He always keeps a gun beneath the counter.

The release of Last Bullet will precede Farewell, My Lovely on April 23. Together, the two titles make up Furyu's first attempts at video game publishing.
