Nintendo's Satoru Iwata to give GDC keynote
First GDC keynote since 2005 for Nintendo president.
Game Developers Conference organizers have shared the identity of the keynote address presenter for this year's show. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will be taking the main stage this year for a session called "Discovering New Development Opportunities."
Iwata last headlined at GDC in 2005, when he discussed the console that would come to be known as Wii.
The year 2009 edition of the Game Developers Conference will be held from March 23 to March 27 in San Francisco. Iwata's speech will take place on the 25th from 9:00 to 10:00.
Other Japanese speakers at this year's event include Hiroshi Matsuyama of CyberConnect2, Seiji Shimoda, also of CyberConnect2, and Hitoshi Sakimoto of Basiscape.
