Bethesda Softworks announced today the upcoming availability of a patch that will give the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3 Trophy support. The patch will begin distribution on February 2 starting at 18:00. To access it, players will simply have to boot up the game while signed in to PlayStation Network.
There's some bad news to report for those who've been actively working through the award-winning apocalyptic sandbox game from the makers of Elder Scrolls. The game's Trophy system will not recognize past progress. To get the Trophies for certain quests and actions, players may have to replay parts of the game.
This patch just adds Trophy support. Bethesda also announced today that it will release a patch of some form for the main game in late February or early March. Details will be shared shortly through the Fallout 3 official site.
Trophy support for the PS3 version of Fallout 3 was added to the American version of the game in mid December.
