Hey guys, have you seen that new DS rhythm game? You know, then one with Mario and Luigi?

Yes, going by this commercial, Mario & Luigi RPG 3 appears to be some sort of alternative to Rhythm Heaven.

Of course, we all know better. Nintendo does too, which is why they have these two commercials as well:

Even Ebi-chan (the girl in the top spot) knows better, as you can see for yourself at Nintendo's commercial page, which has a couple of additional spots with the star.

But the top commercial is a little worrisome. It's like when half of the commercials for Mario Kart Wii focused on the included steering wheel peripheral. Maybe Nintendo thinks that in order to sell Mario & Luigi RPG sell to the masses, they have to show that it has little rhythm segments.
