Today, Tekken 6 followed the path taken by Resident Evil 5 before it and got an exclusive piece of download content on the Xbox 360. Xbox Live members, Gold and Silver alike, can download the game's latest trailer right now.

PS3 owners can't, however. In fact, a PSN version wasn't even mentioned in Bandai Namco's announcement of the trailer's availability.

Keep in mind that this is in Japan, where the 360, while selling a lot better than before, still only manages four digits a week, or less than a fourth of what the PS3 sells. Also keep in mind that the damn game originally ran PS3-powered arcade hardware!

Between this and the Resident Evil 5 demo thing, I really wonder if this is a case of someone at Sony screwing up or someone at Microsoft putting in overtime.
