Famitsu.com debuts Persona PV

First look at the PSP version, plus news of a bonus item!

The PSP version of Persona made its debut in this week's Famitsu, which due to the flying get, means that first word of the game leaked out on Wednesday (actually, second word -- apparently, some magazine in Hong Kong posted first details a while back).

Famitsu.com's editors weren't just sitting around going do-do-do-do-do, though. They managed to get the first video footage of the game!

Access the short trailer here:

The text at the beginning of the trailer says: "The Persona origin, revived on the PSP following 13 years."

Cue happy music!

Midway through the trailer, the text says "Nine friends make their movement again."

Release set for April 29 at a price point that suggests this had damn well better not be a port.

The trailer closes off with a super mega ultra big piece of news: as a purchase bonus, players can look forward to an original soundtrack CD!

Atlus is supposed to open up an official site for the game today. It will probably have absolutely no worthwhile content, though. The cycle is usually Famitsu debut, followed by Famitsu.com video debut, followed by opening of teaser site, followed by first official online details and screens at Famitsu.com, followed by official online screens and details at Dengeki and Gpara, followed by opening of true official site.
