Capcom's periodic updates on MH3 will hopefully get more frequent now.

Capcom is planning a summer release for Monster Hunter 3. The Wii title, which commanded waits of over four hours at the Tokyo Game Show, was previously set for some in 2009.

This information was revealed at a press event commemorating the start of Capcom's Hunter's Banquet G collaboration. I wasn't in attendance or anything. But Famitsu.com's reporters were, and they were apparently so excited about the news that they posted this flash report.

The site says to expect a full report from the event to follow.
