Capcom focuses on medal games at AOU

Company to show latest Mario medal game at arcade event.

 

Capcom shared today its lineup for this weekend's AOU 2009 Amusement Expo event. The company appears to be focusing on medal and prize games this year.

The Capcom booth will feature the following four titles:

Mario Party Fushigi no Coro Coro Catcher
A large medal game
Chibi Maruko-chan Mezase Fujisan Nippon Ichi!
A mid-sized medal game
Bell Circle Sparking Blue
A prize machine
Wantame Music Channel
A kids prize machine

Of these, only Mario Party is new. The other three are currently in release.

Regarding Mario Party, a statement from Capcom promises a medal machine that adds UFO catcher elements for a new type of experience.

AOU will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba on the 20th and 21st. The first day is press and invite only, with the show opening to the public on the second day. Admission on the public day is 1,000 yen.
