The Sinobi blog, reliable source of early sales information, reported yesterday that Star Ocean 4 topped the 131,000 mark in first day sales.

This makes it the fastest selling 360 game yet. Post Blue Dragon, nothing even comes close. Last Remnant sold 79,000 in its first week for second place. Games like Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 didn't even cross the 30,000 mark.

It's worth noting that Star Ocean 4 almost beat out White Knight Chronicle's first day sales. The PS3 RPG sold 132,000 units in its its first week.

Other points of note from the report:

• Idol Master SP sold a total of 84,000 units. In order of popularity, Perfect Sun was top with 33,000 units, followed by Missing Moon with 28,000 units and Wandering Star with 24,000 units.
• Shining Force Feather sold 19,000 units. This is way lower than Shining Force EXA and Shining Wind, which sold respectively 55,000 and 57,000.
