Square Enix holds Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete screening

800 fans to get early chance at seeing the new footage.

Square Enix is giving Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete the royal treatment for its April 16 release. The company announced today plans for a premier screening for the Blu-ray release, to be held in early April for press and fans.

The press version of the screening will be held on April 10. The fan event will follow, with four screenings each on the 11th and 12th. The screenings will take place on the 8th floor of the Sony Building in Ginza, Tokyo.

Those interested in getting in on the festivities will have to be registered with the Square Enix Members fan club. Only Silver Members at the club who've reserved FFVII Advent Children Complete through either the Cloud Black 160GB PS3 bundle or the FFXIII Trial Version demo bundle at the Square Enix e-Store will be able to put their names down for the event.

A total of 800 fans will be able to attend the screenings. If space fills up, Square Enix will build the final guest list through a drawing.

Registration kicked off today at 15:00 at the Square Enix Members site and will run until midnight on March 22.
