Monster Hunter G Online Pricing Announced
Famitsu reports live from the Monster Hunter 5th Anniversary Party.
Capcom has thus far kept quiet about online play charges for the Wii version of Monster Hunter G. That all changed at a party held in Tokyo today in honor of the Monster Hunter series' 5th anniversary.
In a report filed directly from the event, Famitsu.com reveals the pricing to be as follows. As previously announced, the game will make use of WiiPoints for its billing system. To play online, players will have to buy Hunting Tickets to the tune of 800 WiiPoints for 30 days, 1,500 WiiPoints for 60 days, and 2,000 WiiPoints for 90 days. Capcom will also hold a 14 day free trial period.
Also announced at the event was Monster Hunter Club. This free mobile fan club will be accessible on all three major carriers (DoCoMo, Softbank, and AU) and will offer activities such as illustration contests, "monster habitat research" and more.
More formal details on both developments will presumably be announced shortly, so be sure and check the main channel for further details later tonight.
