Itagaki Gate Continues

Tecmo boss lives to fight anew.

There's a new revelation in the fight between Tomonobu Itagaki and Yoshimi Yasuda, respectively the former head of Team Ninja and the former CEO of Tecmo.

Today, Kadokawa Shoten announced the formation of Kadokawa Games. You can read all the boring details here, but the most interesting part of the story (unless you didn't know that the publishers of the Dengeki and Famitsu magazines are part of the same group company) is that this guy will be heading up the new operation:

That's Yasuda, who left his CEO post at Tecmo in August of last year citing personal reasons. It was never clarified if those personal reasons had anything to do with the lawsuit Itagaki had filed against him.

Koei CEO Kenji Matsuhara has pretty much denied any chance of Itagaki having a place at Koei Tecmo. You can probably now add Kadokawa Games and its sister companies to the list of no-goes for the ninja master as well.
