5pb. suspends shipments of Xbox 360 DoDonPachi

5pb posted a notice at its official site today announcing that it has halted further shipments of Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label X on Xbox 360. As reason for this unanticipated move, the company simply cited "various circumstances."

DoDonPachi Daioujou Black Label X is an Xbox 360 version of the fourth entry in Cave's DonPachi series of vertical shoot-em-ups. The home version was released on February 19 following a delay past its original planned Christmas release.

Immediately following the game's release, 5pb disclosed that it had received complaints from players about bugs. The company promised a title update to fix the issues, but this has yet to surface. According to today's notice, the update is still on the way. Specifics will be shared later.
