Memories Off set for Xbox 360
5pb brings two entries in classic love sim series to HD.
The Xbox 360 continued its unlikely streak of love simulations with the announcement from 5pb. today of two Memories Off games for the platform.
The more notable of the two titles is Memories Off 6 Next Relation. This sequel to Memories Off 6 T-Wave, released for the PS2 in August of last year and set for the PSP this May, is coming to both the PS2 and Xbox 360 this Summer, priced at 7,140 yen for a standard version and 9,240 yen for a limited edition.
Set in the summer half a year after the events of T-Wave, Next Relation promises new situations and character relations, along with the ability to see a new side to the characters. The 360 version will feature 16x9 support and full 1280x720 HD resolution.
Prior to Next Relation, the 360 will see a port of T-Wave. This will also arrive in the summer, priced at 6,090 yen. The 360 version features 1280x720 HD resolution, added CG and voices, and adjustments to scenarios.
Famitsu.com managed to get comments on both games from the producer.
Regarding T-Wave, the site was told that the 360 version makes use of the systems from Next Relation, and will even feature some surround sound support. Due to a busy schedule for the developers in developing both the PSP version of T-Wave and the new Next Relation, there won't be too many additions for the 360.
On Next Relation, the site was told to expect after-stories for each of the five T-Wave heroines. Each story begins with the player and heroine being close to boyfriend and girlfriend status. The site was also told to play close attention to the game's characters. Further details beyond this hint were not shared.
