Square Enix has finally gotten around to sharing details on the large lineup of characters it's working on for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Dark Lord. A good thing, because with about a month to go until release, the official site's character page still has a bunch of "????" to fill up.

Today, we got details on one character and one group:

To the left is Tongarry. A "super elite butler," Tongarry became leader of the Tonberries Butler Army at a young age. His origins are unknown, though. The page says "He looks at a glance like a stuffed animal costume, and he may actually be a stuffed animal costume. What in the world is within?"

To the right is a group of Tonberries. The Tonberries serve as butlers for Mira, the "dark lord" of the title. They go by code names, like Tonbero, Tonzura and Tonjiri. However, they apparently cannot be told apart, and their numbers are unknown. It also seems that they alternate in taking breaks.

The official description suggests that Mira treats the Tonberries like crap, and while they follow her wishes, there are some rumors that they're building up negative feelings.

The Tonberries are enemies of a group of agents called the Moogle Brothers.
