Top 30 Made in Ore Remakes at ITmedia

Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Mega Man and more recreated Wario Ware style!

Mega Man is a bit big, but on the whole, a fantastic-looking recreation!

ITmedia posted an interesting story today about Made in Ore remakes. Made in Ore, you'll remember, is Nintendo's DS-based make-your-own Wario Ware mini game maker software. The ITmedia feature highlights the writer's favorite 30 remakes of classic games that were created by various users. Videos of the creations were uploaded to YouTube or Nico Nico Video.

The ITmedia article lists the following, left to right, top to bottom:

Surprised that players can get away with recreating all this "intellectual" property? (Intellectual is quoted because Takeshi no Chousenjo is in there.) Don't be. Nintendo doesn't actually provide a simple means for mini game distribution. You can exchange your creations with friends, but you can't upload them to a server for mass distribution. Because of this, there shouldn't be any concern about copyright violations.

Or, at least, if there is a concern, no one can do anything about it.
