Horribly Annoying Puyo Puyo 7 Theme Song Gets a CD

Are you one of the five people on this Earth whose head wasn't spinning after hearing the background theme song at the Puyo Puyo 7 official site? Then Sega made an announcement today that may be of particular interest to you.

The company announced the Puyo Puyo no Uta CD single. Set for release on July 29, one day ahead of Puyo Puyo 7's DS release, the CD includes the full Puyo Puyo 7 theme song, as performed by Asami Imai, voice of the game's main character, Ringo Ando.

The ¥1,260 single will be released through Wave Master. Sega is actually including six versions of the song, including karaoke and "very short" versions. The CD will also include a promotion video for the song.
