Akihiro Hino VS Toshihiro Nagoshi VS The Kacho at Tokyo Game Show

Major talk session to close off this year's big event.

Two gaming giants will be facing off on the final day of this year's Tokyo Game Show. Blood will likely (not) be spilt as Level-5's Akihiro Hino takes to the stage with Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi for a grand finale wrestling match... a wrestling match of words.

Hino is the CEO of Fukuoka-based Level-5 and the man most often associated with the studio's many hits, including the Professor Layton series, White Knight Chronicles, and Inazuma Eleven.

Nagoshi is the general producer of the Ryu ga Gotoku series (also known as Yakuza -- when Sega was actively pursuing overseas releases, at least). The next entry in the series is expected to have a major showing at this year's event.

The two will appear in a talk event on September 27, the final day of the big show. Topics of conversation include "the charms of game production" and "images of games to come."

The two game producers may not be the main attractions, though. Joining them on stage will be comedy duo Yoiko. Shinya Arino, host of the widely regarded Game Center CX video game program where he's known as "The Kacho," is one of the two members of this group.

A similar talk event was held last year. Then, Konami's Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear) faced off against Capcom's Ryouzou Tsujimoto (Monster Hunter).

The talk event is actually a part of the Japan International Contents Festival 2009 (Co-Festa) event, an event being held in tandem with TGS. Co-Festa will also have an exhibit called "The Now and Future of Games" on the TGS show floor.

TGS will be held this year from September 24 through September 27. The first two days are business only, with the last two days open to the public.
