First Look: The Tekken 6 Collector's Box

Plus, two more celebrity guest costumes, and a final release date!

We've known for some time now about Tekken 6's sweet Collectors Box edition. Now, have your first look at both the bundle and the game's standard version:

That's the PS3 version of Tekken 6 to the left and the Xbox 360 version to the right (in case you didn't notice the platform logos).

Those are just the standard game cases. What makes the Collectors Box so boxy and collectible is the following:

The Collectors Box includes an art book and an arcade stick from the masters of the stick over at Hori. I'm not sure if there's any difference in the art book's cover, but Namco Bandai did share individual screenshots for the 360 and PS3 versions.

The standard version of Tekken 6 will retail for ¥8,379. The Collectors Box goes for ¥17,829.

Even if you opt for the lower priced (but still pretty damn expensive if you ask me!) standard version, you'll still get a bonus item. Everyone who pre-orders the game, either through the standard or Collectors version, will get a card containing a password. The password can be input into the Tekken-net mobile site to gain access to a special item in the arcade Tekken 6 BR.

Look for Tekken 6 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 29. A PSP version is also on the way, but has yet to be dated.

Joining this update on the game's bonus items, Namco Bandai shared a bunch of screenshots. These show off the multiplayer-ready scenario campaign mode along with new characters like Lars, Alisa, and Miguel.

As you play the scenario campaign mode, you'll earn fight money, which can be used to purchase items for customizing your character. Check out this variety:

Also in the screenshot gallery is a closeup look at a couple of the special costumes Namco Bandai is preparing for the game.

First up, the Lars extra costume, created by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto.

And here's the Zafina extra costume, from Tales series character designer Mutsumi Inomata
