This site tends to be focused on Japanese games, but I will totally make an exception for a game as wonderful as Uncharted.

Actually, there's good reason to write about the Uncharted franchise. Coinciding with announcements made overseas, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced late last week a final Japanese release date for Uncharted 2.

The game will arrive here simultaneous with its overseas counterparts on October 15. It's being priced at the same ¥5,980 price point of its predecessor.

The game's full name here translates to "Uncharted: Golden Sword and the Missing Fleet." As the original Japanese name might suggest, Sony is giving the game a full localization. You can get a sampling via this latest trailer, which was uploaded to the the game's official site last week.
