If you're free on the 16th, you may want to head out to Akihabara for an Ys Seven event. Sadly, you won't get to play the upcoming PSP action RPG at this event. But you will get to watch someone else play it!

The event, a public recording session for a radio program titled Edo Musume Tenka Taihen!, isn't actually being hosted by Falcom. But Ys Seven and Falcom's staff will feature in a big way. JDK Band vocalist Kanako Kodera will perform Ys Seven songs Rush Out! and Sora wo Miagete live. This will be followed by a live play session of Ys Seven by Falcom staff, complete with color commentary.

This will be the first time Ys Seven has been shown to the public in playable form. The public won't get to play it, but at least admission is free!

Interested parties should head to Bellesalle Akihabara on the the 16th at 15:30 for the hour long broadcast.
