Some sad news today for those who were looking forward to pass the line time at the Tokyo Game Show this year Musou style (without getting arrested). Koei announced today a delay in the release of Dynasty Warriors 6 Special. Originally set for release on September 17, just ahead of the big show, the game will now arrive a month later, on October 22.

As reason for the delay, Koei cited the usual desire to improve quality in order to fully satisfy consumers yadda yadda yadda.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Special, known properly here as Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Special, is a PSP port of the PS2 version of Dynasty Warriors 6, itself also featuring the Special monicker. The PSP version adds elements from Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, which was released exclusively for PS3 and Xbox 360.
