Samurai Warriors 3 won't be the first game to get a Classic Controller Pro bundle. That honor goes to Monster Hunter 3 which, in addition to launching opposite the peripheral, was offered in bundle form with it.

What Samurai Warriors 3 will have all to itself, though, is the honor of a special design for its Classic Controller Pro. Koei offered a look at the design today:

The special controller will be part of the game's Special Classic Controller Pro Set, which will carry a price tag of ¥8,715. The game will also be available in standard software-only form for ¥7,140 and Treasure Box form for ¥11,300. The latter includes the special Classic Controller Pro, a mini figure, an original soundtrack CD and a book with strategies and artwork.

All packages will arrive on November 19. The game's release date was previously set for TBA 2009.

Koei's update on the game today listed compatibility with Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection service. Specifics have yet to be shared.
