Konami Opens Tokyo Game Show Special Site

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Winning Eleven, and lots of Coming Soon.

Konami got on the Tokyo Game Show bandwagon today, opening up a special site for the upcoming event.

The page offers just a small glimpse at the company's lineup, but three major titles are confirmed for show. Players will have a chance to sample Winning Eleven 2010 (PS3/PSP and Xbox 360), Winning Eleven Play Maker 2010 (Wii) and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker (PSP). MGS PW will also be featured in videos, through a stage show, and will offer a downloadable demo and other unspecified downloadable goods.

The site's games page lists 5 additional games as coming soon. Additionally, there's one coming soon title listed under a section for "other booth." This could be a game hosted in a first party booth.

Konami will be showing product in the show's Kids Corner area as well. Representing the Konami brand will be Family Challenge Wii, which will have playable demo units and a stage.

The company's stage schedule is also only partially shown at present. The Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker stage will take place on both press days (9/24 and 9/25) at around noon. Konami will expand this to two showings on the general public days (9/26 and 9/27). The general public days will also have periodic video showcases for Konami's upcoming lineup.

The theme for the company's booth this year is, according to the page, "Connect Together: Connected Enjoyment." The company hopes to make players feel a variety of "connections" through the shown product.

Konami's special TGS site can be fully navigated in English, so interested parties should take a look.
