PlayStation 3 will be getting two of the hottest action games ever next month. Opening the month on October 1 is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, an updated port of Xbox 360's Ninja Gaiden 2. Closing the month on October 29 is Bayonetta, which will arrive simultaneously on the 360.

You may already have your preference for which is the better game (although unless you've been to a major game event like E3, I don't see how -- Bayonetta hasn't gotten its promised demo yet). Now, take sides in a battle far more important than gameplay, graphics, and sound: retail pamphlets!

The cover page notes that the series has sold 7.7 million units total. There's also info about the pre-order bonuses (the guide book and costume download) and the ninjagaiden.jp official site, including those very, very special movies.

The second page has details on the game, including sections on "breathtaking detailed graphics," "high speed action that surpasses action," "four playable characters," Team Missions, Chapter Challenge, facing off against giant enemies, and Ninja Records. In the middle, the series' catch phrase: For all those who love action games.

Let's see… you've got a nice shot of Bayonetta's back on the cover with text describing the genre as "Infinite Climax Action" genre. We also see character profiles, background story, and a look at the Rodin's Selection soundtrack pre-order bonus.

Surrounding the artwork of Bayonetta and her demon possessed hair, we see sections titled Bullet Arts, Wicked Wave, and Torture Attack.
