Tales of Vesperia First Strike hits theaters next week.

Tales of Vesperia hits the big screen on October 3. There's no way Namco Bandai would let such an important debut go by quietly for gamers. Today, during a Tales series stage event on the first public day of the Tokyo Game Show, the company revealed just what it has planned.

As reported at Famitsu.com, Vesperia producer Yoshito Higuchi took the stage alongside Yuri voice actor Toriumi Kosuke and announced new download content for the PS3 version of Vesperia. The content includes one costume each for Yuri and Fren. These costumes are based off the characters' movie clothing.

Owners of the PS3 version of Vesperia can download the content on October 3. Pricing is set at ¥315 for the set of two.

Based off the Famitsu.com story, this content appears to be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version of the game. Expect Xbox 360 Vesperia fan rage shortly.

The Vesperia costume announcement was one of a number of Tales announcements made during the stage event. Baba also revealed a release time frame of December for Wii's Tales of Graces. Singer BoA took the stage at the event -- appropriate, as she was revealed to be performing the Tales of Graces theme song.

Today's stage was titled "Of Course! Tales of in TGS 2009 Vesperia & Graces Day." Tomorrow's event will be titled "Graces Day." Perhaps we can expect additional announcements regarding the Wii title.
